About our VOSB Designation

vosb_large

Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) is a company diversity registration designated under the Veteran Benefits, Health Care, and Information Technology Act of 2006 (Public Law 109-461). Registration ensures that companies qualify for preferential procurement for federal contracts if they are owned and controlled by Veterans.

This certification is non-industry specific and requires that the firm meets the small business requirements established by the Small Business Administration (SBA). Additionally, it requires that the company is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a veteran.

Are surveillance drones part of your security program?

Complex challenges require new solutions and fresh ideas. And while security camera manufacturers continue to improve resolution and lens configurations, the sky may be the next frontier for our industry. Perhaps it's time to start planning out a drone surveillance strategy for your perimeter protection challenges.

Here's what our team is thinking about when it comes to the topic:

  • Should drones should be part of a normal guard tour?
  • Should they react to other integrated system alarm inputs like gunshot detection alert or a fence detection system disturbance?
  • How will charging be accomplished without having the system out of service?
  • How do wind, rain, snow, and sleet impact the drone fleet?
  • How is integration to the command center VMS managed?

Let's talk about whether or not drone surveillance is the right fit for your security program today or in the future...
