Registration ensures that companies qualify for preferential procurement for federal contracts if they are owned and controlled by Veterans. This certification is non-industry specific and requires that the firm meets the small business requirements established by the Small Business Administration (SBA). Additionally, it requires that the company is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a veteran. - Testing 1 - Sub Nav 1 - Sub Nav 2 - Testing 2 - Testing 3 ##### About Us - Testing 1 - Sub Nav 1 - Sub Nav 2 - Testing 2 - Testing 3 1 min read # Construction Phasing: Security Considerations for Data Centers and Other Applications [![Picture of Theseus Team](https://blog.theseuspro.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Theseus%20Icon%20-%20transparent.png?width=30&name=Theseus%20Icon%20-%20transparent.png) Theseus Team](https://blog.theseuspro.com/theseus-blog/author/theseus-team) : Jan 17, 2024 1:05:07 PM [Security Solution Design](https://blog.theseuspro.com/theseus-blog/tag/security-solution-design) [Data Center](https://blog.theseuspro.com/theseus-blog/tag/data-center) ![](https://blog.theseuspro.com/hubfs/IMG_8558.jpg) When it comes to the phasing of construction projects, security often takes a back seat. However, neglecting security can be a critical oversight, as it is essential to ensure the safety and protection of both personnel and assets. In a short video clip from our on-demand webinar, security expert Eric Moreau sheds light on the complex considerations that go into establishing and maintaining security during construction projects. One key aspect that Eric emphasizes is the impact of construction schedules on access control and video surveillance. The dynamic nature of construction projects can easily disrupt these security measures. For example, Eric specifically mentions the challenge of determining the location of temporary versus permanent network connections to switches, which may or may not be the final connection point for a camera or access control device once construction is complete. This issue highlights the need for careful planning and coordination between the construction and security teams, which Theseus is expert at facilitating. By proactively addressing these potential challenges, construction projects can ensure a seamless integration of security measures without compromising the project timeline or budget. To gain further insights into this important topic, watch the short clip below about phasing from our on-demand webinar. Eric Moreau provides valuable expertise and practical tips on how to navigate the complexities of maintaining security during construction. You can access the entire webinar by following the link provided below.   Remember, prioritizing security during construction projects is crucial to safeguarding assets, maintaining a safe working environment, and protecting against potential threats.
