Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) is a company diversity registration designated under the Veteran Benefits, Health Care, and Information Technology Act of 2006 (Public Law 109-461). Registration ensures that companies qualify for preferential procurement for federal contracts if they are owned and controlled by Veterans.

This certification is non-industry specific and requires that the firm meets the small business requirements established by the Small Business Administration (SBA). Additionally, it requires that the company is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a veteran.

Is Your Security Strategy Truly Secure—or Just Keeping Honest People Honest?

Too often, organizations invest in security measures without first understanding the full scope of their risks. A fence might deter casual trespassers. Access control may regulate entry. But unless these elements are part of a coordinated and comprehensive strategy, they may do little to stop a determined intruder.

In one common example, a facility installs both fencing and access control. Individually, these are strong components. But if they aren’t integrated—if, for instance, a gate can be bypassed or a card reader is installed in an unsecured area—the system has critical vulnerabilities.

This is why a comprehensive physical and electronic security risk assessment is essential. When conducted by an experienced and qualified consulting and engineering firm, a risk assessment evaluates your facility holistically, identifying gaps, compliance concerns, and opportunities for improved protection. It ensures your systems align with the specific security requirements of your organization, as well as those of local authorities and relevant oversight agencies.

Theseus Professional Services specializes in delivering detailed security risk assessments for a variety of facility types and industries. We help clients move beyond surface-level solutions to implement integrated, intelligent, and compliant security strategies.
